Damn, you beat me to it. I read this early in the morning and told myself “Soon as you finish breakfast you gotta send this to the Comtesse.”
LOL…. I never thought of it that way. Yup, he definitely won’t be coming back. I’ve seen someone take a spill at a baseball game trying to get a ball. It’s not the stadium’s fault. These people leap outta their seats!
Its so nice when people get what they want!
My dad says people fall jumping for baseballs pretty often, but this is the first time he’s heard of anybody dying because of it. I knew of a girl who was hit by a pitch at a high school ballgame and had her jaw broken.
The thing is, when you enter a stadium you automatically waive your right to sue the stadium or the ball club for any game-related injuries you might suffer there. They know there’s a risk of falling from the stands or getting hit by a ball, and the risk is great enough that without this waiver there’d be so many lawsuits the place would go broke.
